Heyheyhey
Hey there, in about 2 hours a staff member will be driving me and my team to a random place in New Zealand and then the fun begins...(scary ominous music playing) anyways then we start hitch hiking. I woke up this morning and I was like 'wow, tonight I don't know where I will be sleeping.' That was the weirdest feeling ever. But its kinda cool cuz ya we get to experience New Zealand in a whole nother way....as poor travelers. Cuz ya we only have 60$ for all of us. and we are not allowd to bring any other money. But its ognna be good. We really have to trust God for provision so thats gonna be interesting to see .
I can't believe the time has actually actually come. That is sooo weird. But ya its gonna be awesome. My team is an awesome team, but we are all kinda go with the flow kinda pepole. None of us are really hardcore decisive leaders. BUt its a gonna be awesome.
Anyways we have some goals of places to go but I will tell you about them after just in case we don't get there.

I'm an INFLUENCE
HEYHEY<
so ya my outreach team was supposed to do a Temperment test. So ya I did the test and the choices were : a DOER, a INFLUENCE, a RELATER, a THINKER> so incase you didn't get it from my title i was an influencer. and this next thing i write might shock you completely so make sure that you are sitting down. apparantly I am not a thinker at all! isnt that sad, i always thought that i was a hugely deep thinker. But ya here is the description of who i apparantly am : MOTIVATED BY RECOGNITION AND APPROVAL. HATES ISOLATION AND ACCEPTS INVOLVEMENT WITH OTHERS. WEAKNESSES: OVERSELLING, MANIPULATIVE, LACK OF FOLLOW THROUGH. WOULD BENEFIT FROM PAUSING.
but ya do you agree? please post your comments...or if you think i am a deep deep thinker you can tell me to.

KaRaZy ArT sHoW
Hey yall.
so on saturday i spent the day in christchurch going to an art show. i took a tour and it was a tour that took us around to different artists houses and such. it was really karazy to see how these artists lived. like we went to one guys house and he was totally the emitimy of the tormented artist. like it was really creepy, he was just starved for attention it seems.
and k this weird thing happened, someone was like hey you have an accent where are you from? and i am not used to that cuz i usually think that other people have an accent and i sound normal... so that was kinda funny.
but thats all i have to say right now, i will talk to yall later

intense...intense...amazing beyond description
Hello hello hello.
I just had a really good evening and i thought that i would share it with yall. We had a group worship session with the backpackers group. and ya it was really fun. the music was loud, the room was smelly and hot (kinda like a sess pool). anyways ya it was so beautiful, like weird also. they just ended and we basically just begun. and like tomorrow was their grad and they were so close. and we are close now i wonder what its gonna be like in june.
but ya we just had a fantastic time of worship. It is really what I needed. Like hardcore. I have been feeling down...well mostly really tried alot lately but God just came in there and just gave me energy to just jump and dance and praise him.
but ya i hope your day is going good and I love yall

update on me...
Hey everyone, I havent really updated you since the weekend pretty much. so how are all you doing? I really don't know if anyone actually reads this but i will decide to think that you do, since it makes me feel better and makes me think that you actually care. We have the most amazing speaker this week. His name is GOrdon something or other and he is a kiwi. He is speaking on the Father Heart of God. and it is just so good. like amazingly good for seriously. other than that not much is going on. we had an outreach team meeting, and ya not much else. except there was this other DTS that started last september or october and it was the backpackers DTS and so they came back this week and so this week is their Grad. its tomorrow night and ya we have to dress up and such. its been quite fun to chat it up with them. cuz they are where I will be in a few months. faced with decsions of what on earth are the gonna do next.
anyways i really have nothing else to say...it is supper time.
i miss yall, lots, sometimes i cry cuz i miss ya so much...coughcough :)

apparantly there is such a thing as wild boars...
heyhey,
yeppers what a weekend it has been. started off on friday night with evangelism in the square. It was pretty cool I am totally realizing how small this world is. What are the odds that I go to the ends of the earth and meet someone i have met before. Anyways so there was this guy who i met and i was like hey are you canadian and he was like ya eh. and turns out i had met him a few years back when i had went to this thing in kelowna BC...called avalanche and ya he knew some of the people that i knew. karazy eh....anyways ya he helped sing and he was rock awesome at guitar.
oh for those of you who don't know...each friday night we go to this square in Christchurch...which is right beside the famous cathedral. and ya we do free henna, we sing, we play sports and we also do art and like we spread out this big piece of paper and we write quesions like 'who are you?' 'who is jesus?' and others and its cool cuz random people stop and paint and write their thoughts down.
Anyways so that was a good night. and so the next morning i woke up pretty early and i went with a group of people to basically the site that narnia was filmed. but not the exact place becuz people arent allowd to go to the exact place cuz it is actually on private property. anyways so there was this bouldering competition...cuz liek there are these huge boulder rock monstrous things. and ya there was this competition. and so we handed out free food and such and ya just walked around climbed big rocks and such. and i almost walked off a cliff, that was pretty much the funnest thing ever.
after that the girls that had came and the guys that had came split up. and the girls drove around to find a camp site. cuz we were on this thing called vision weekend where we were supposed to go camp alone and spend time with God for a night. we so we finally found a good place and the only things we had to eat were couscous and beans. so we used these little burner things to make this food and ya it was amazing. we had no utensils either so i found a rock. it was great and then me and this girl laura we were gonna camp near eachother just incase we got deadly cold. and so we walked for about an hour and found the perfect place. we set up and everything and then we went on our ways to spend time alone. oh yes i forgot to mention that in order to get to our campsite we cross a stream/waterfall thing that was so beautiful and had it been warmer i might have bathed in it. but anyways ya also we were standing together and then this man with a gun walks by. and i was like what on earth? and im like nice gun, and hes like ya i'm hunting for wild boars. and he said this with a smile and so we figured he was pulling our legs and making the foreigners nervous. cuz we are clearly foreigners.
so i made my way down this hill and ya i found a spot to sit. and ya it started to get dark and i was like oh no maybe i need to head back. and i was completely lost. and so i was like oh man i walked straight up through this bush and ya i got all scratched up but finally i made it to the path and i made it back to my camp site.
oh and we didnt actually set up the tent cuz we wanted to sleep outside so we decided that if it actually rained we would just get in the tent. and ya lie in it out of the rain. well anyways so later we both got settled into bed. and ya we were in bed for about an hour and then it started to sprinkle. well sprinkle lead to a down pour. oh and also i had forgotten my sleeping bag so i just had 2 little yellow sheets. and ya we were ok for a while and then we got really cold and wet. and we were like this sucks so we were gonna pack up our stuff and walk back to the vans and sleep there. and so we ended up leaving half of our stuff to walk back. well keep in mind that we are in the middle of a pitch black forest and we have 2 little flash lights and it took us like an hour in the light. so ya we start walking and its pouring rain we are getting so soaked and then we get to the waterfall thing taht we had to walk across that was fun in the pitch black of night. ya and we ended up getting lost and wandering the wrong way so we finally got back to the van unscathed. but i was completely soaked.
so ya we spooned in the van to keep warm. but it was pretty fun. and so in the morning we had to walk back for our camp that was great fun . i think i enjoyed walking at night better cuz ya. you only looked a step in front of you ya know? you only focused on the one step.
and i have been really struggling with what on earth i am gonna do after DTS, and God jsut told me that its ok he holds my future. like i just really need to follow that one little flash of light and ya its when i start to look around with my flash light and look to far ahead is when i fall. so i really just need to focus on the now ya know?
anyways turns out that their are wild boars in the bush and they can be up to 400pds, and like ya some other hunters came and were gonna go hunting. thankfully we didnt run into them.

ChEeSe pLeAsE
Ahoyhoy all.
ya just thought that i would tell you whats up with me. not really much is new. had a nice relaxing and quiet weekend. it was a grand ol time. some of my group are watching the super bowl right now...yeppers funfun i tell. just walked to the dairy to get some icecream...i had hokey pokey. its wack its like vanilla icecream with caramel bits and such. oh and the dairy is just a store. anyways i saw a really funny thing today, a truck playing rap music with sheep in the back. oh i laughed oh so hard.
anyways just thought i would give a little shout. and ya i am bored. so i am gonna go now.

flying foreign objects...
Hey there beautiful people,
SO ya the other day we were in our outreach teams praying and i was drinking some tea with some suga, and like ya i started laughing and ya it totally came out my nose. and ya it just brought me down memory lane back to all the times that drinks and food objects had flown from my mouth when i was laughing. so ya i got reminded of this one time it was christmas morning and we were having bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns for breakfast. and i sneezed while i was eating some hashbrowns...and ya three like got lodged in my nasal passage. so ya i didnt really realize it. but it felt like something was there. so ya here we are at christmas dinner. and i sneeze again...like 10 hours later. 3 hashbrowns come out of my nose....true story i was there..
anyways just thought htat i would share that with you...
